They all come for violence; their faces are set like the east wind. They gather captives like sand. They scoff at kings, and princes are scorned by them.They deride every stronghold, for they heap up earthen mounds and seize it. Are You not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O LORD, You have appointed them for judgment; O Rock, You have marked them for correction. You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on wickedness. Why do You look on those who deal tracherously, and hold Your tongue when the wicked devours a person more righteous than he? Why do You make  men like fish of the sea, like creeping things / this image of jealousy / Levianthan that twisted serpent that have no ruler over them? They take up all of them with a  hook, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their dragnet. Therefore they rejoice and are glad. Therefore they sacrifice to their net, and burn incense to their dragnet; because by them their share is sumptuous and their food plentiful. Shall they therefore empty their net, and continue to slay nations without pity? Woe to the rebellious children, 'say the LORD, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; Who walk to go down to Egypt, and have not asked My advice, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore the strength of Pharaoh shall be your shame, and trust in the shadow of Egypt shall your humiliation. or his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. They shall neither hunger nor thrist, neither heat  nor shall strike them; for He who has mercy on them will lead them, even by the springs of water He guide them. Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are  continually before Me. Your sons shall make haste; your destroyers and those who laid you waste shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see; all these gather togather and come to you. As I live, "says the LORD, "You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, and bind them on you as a bride does. "For your waste and desolate  places, and the land of your destruction, will even now be too small for inhabitants; and those who swallowed you up will be far away. The children you will have, after you have lost the others, will say again in your ears, 'The place is too small for me; give me a place where I may dwell.' Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has begotten these for me, since I have lost my children and am desolate, a captive, and wandering to and fro? And who has brought these up? There I was left alone; but these, where were they? ' " Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to nations, and set up My standard for the peoples; they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders; Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers; they shall bow down to you with  their faces to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, for they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me. Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of the righteous be delivered? But thus says the LORD: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible / mens like fish of the sea, like creeping things / this world be delivered; for I contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children. I feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and they shall be drink with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob." ISAIAH  49:1-26

"Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silence, but will repay-even repay into their bosom-Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers togather, "says the LORD, "Who have burned incense on the mountains and blasphemed Me on the hills; therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom." Thus says the LORD: "As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, 'Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it, 'so will I do for My servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all. I will bring forth the descendants from Jacob, and from Judah an heir of My mountains; My elect shall inherit it, and My servant shall dwell there. Sharon shall be fold of flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, for My people who have sought Me. "But you are those who farsake the LORD, who forget My holy mountain, who prepre  a table for Gad, and who furnish a drink offering for Meni. Therefore I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight. Therfore thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungery; behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, My sevants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed; Behold, My servant shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and wail for grief of spirit.  You shall leave your name as acurse to My choosen; for the Lord GOD will slay you, and call His servants by another name; So that he who blessed himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; becuase the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from My eyes.
